A doctoral thesis submitted to the University of London for the degree of Doctor of Science. An analysis of the geology of Armenia, comprising findings of previous observers' research and the author's own research, the fieldwork being conducted when Dr Oswald accompanied Mr. H.F.B. Lynch to Turkish Armenia in 1898. Includes hand-drawn, -printed and -coloured maps by the author. 13 chapters detail the observations made by the author during his time in Armenia, with the to her 10 chapters treating the general situation.
